lyrics

The Unicorns of Canterlot,
They are the ones who have a lot.
Keep to their clans, their high class friends.
All their parties, that they attend.

While we get along in ponyville,
they greet us there with such a chill.
Secret rooms. They wink and nod.
Their smile can’t conceal their façades.

A pony or a pegasus
can’t get ahead or make the list.
They’ll keep us out and laugh about
how they use connections to cast us out.

Upper crust. [And don’t they know it]
no time for others. [Yeah, they show it]
Their attitude is such a joke.
Community a blaze in a cloud of smoke.

The Unicorns of Canterlot,
They are the ones who have a lot.
Keep to their clans, their high class friends.
All their parties, that they attend.

They dash and dine on our dime;
Stay in their rooms the whole time.
They walk on through and skip the queue,
'Cause what they do qualifies as news.

They’ll move along when the feast is gone.
Take all our tales out of their songs.
They’ll strip it bare and then they’ll stare
when you don’t follow or even care.

You lend a hoof [to help them out],
But they peer at you [with such doubt].
They think you’ll try to hitch a ride
While you put up with all that pride

The Unicorns of Canterlot
They are the ones who have a lot
The Unicorns of Canterlot x2
Because your friends are all you got x2
